If Tamarindo had a full-time job, it would be chasing tennis balls. Every walk, every trip, every adventure has one goal: find the ball, launch the ball, retrieve the ball. Everything else is just waiting for the next throw.
Tamarindo joined our family in February 2023 after having already been through multiple shelter stays and another abandonment.
What was supposed to be a temporary foster quickly became permanent.
Today he is the beloved uncle of the pack, always ready for an adventure, a nap, or a belly rub.
Moments With Tamarindo
Day Two
This was only his second day with us. The collar and leash are the same ones he arrived with. He didn’t know it yet, but his temporary stop was about to become home.
Raincoat Required
Tamarindo loves walks. Tamarindo hates getting wet. These two facts have been in conflict ever since we met him. The raincoat helps maintain a fragile peace agreement.
The Gentleman
Tamarindo takes dining out very seriously. He loves joining us at dog-friendly restaurants, greeting strangers, and collecting compliments. He somehow manages to become the center of attention without even trying.
Certified Bread Critic
A true connoisseur of bolillo. His grandparents always save him a small tasting portion, and he approaches every bite with the focus of a professional food critic. His verdict is almost always the same: more, please.
